The Orion Tournament is a “continuous” tournament, which means that you can
enter the competition at any time, and can re-enter multiple times if you wish.
You can win huge cash prizes just by defeating other individual players, one at
a time, at answering trivia questions.
Moving up to higher levels and higher prize money: When you enter the tournament
($1 entry fee) you’ll initially be placed on level 1. Each time you win a match
you’ll be moved up to the next higher level and you’ll be entitled to the prize
money associated with that level.

The Competition: When another player reaches the same level that
you are on, you will be paired up for one-on-one competition. Both of you will
receive the same multiple choice, 5-question trivia quiz and you’ll have up to a
week to complete the quiz, although typically the 5 questions should be answered
right away. If you score higher on the quiz than your competitor, you’ll be
declared the winner. If you both get the same score then the one who completed
the quiz first will be declared the winner. Speed and accuracy are important.
The winner of this one-on-one contest will move up to the next level and the
loser will receive whatever prize money they have won and will be removed from
the tournament.
Answering Quiz Questions: The questions that you’ll find on the
trivia quizzes are all multiple choice questions that range from easy to very
difficult. The good news is that you can use any resource you can think of to
find the answers. The best source of answers is the internet, so if you’re good
at finding things there, you’ll do well on the quizzes. You can also call in
friends, teachers or experts to help with the answers or look up the answers in
reference books. Use any source you can think of. As a last resort, just
eliminate as many choices as you can and take a guess. It is unwise to leave
questions completely unanswered. Just remember, it’s important to submit your
answers as quickly as possible because in case of tie scores on the quiz, the
one that is returned in the shortest time wins.
Prize Money: Each time you reach a new level, you have won the
prize money for that level.
to see the
prize pay-out chart.) You can never lose that money once you’ve reached
that level. So if you decide to continue on and try for the next level up, you
don’t risk losing the money you’ve already won. If you lose your next match, you
still get the money.
Notice that you start winning prize money by winning two matches and making it
to level 3, and you win back your entry fee by winning three matches and making
it to level 4. After that it’s all gravy. The prize money increases to
astronomical levels - $100,000.00 on level 23, a million dollars on level 28,
eight million dollars on level 31 and it just keeps increasing without limit. So
if you win 27 matches in a row, you will win a million bucks. It won’t be easy
to do that, but it is certainly possible and it could completely change your
life. Everyone who makes it to level 28 gets a million dollars.
Re-entering the Tournament: You aren’t limited to just one try at
the big money. You can enter and re-enter the competition as many times as you
want. In fact, you can have as many active entries in competition as you want.
This makes it a possibility that two of your entries will be matched for
competition against each other. This is not a bad thing because if that happens,
one of your entries will lose and receive the appropriate prize money and the
other entry will get a free pass to the next level without the slightest risk of
being eliminated from competition. The smart thing to do is not to re-enter the
tournament until your initial entry reaches level 4. At that point you have won
back your original entry fee and it won’t cost you anything to enter again.
Also, whenever you are defeated in battle and eliminated from the tournament,
you should think seriously about re-entering. You can’t win anything if you
aren’t in the game. So the best re-entry strategy is to start another entry each
time you reach level 4 and each time one of your entries is eliminated from
competition.
By staying in the game and re-entering often you get the obvious advantage of
gaining experience at learning how to answer our questions, but there is another
good reason to keep trying. The trivia quizzes are made up by randomly selecting
5 questions from our limited question pool, so the more quizzes you take, the
more likely you’ll begin to see questions that you’ve seen before. That is a big
advantage because if you already know the answer all you have to do is mark it
and move on to the next question without wasting time.
Retiring an Entry: You always have the option of taking your prize
money and leaving the tournament. Once you reach the advanced levels, you may
experience a wait time before another competitor catches up to your level. That
wait time could be as much as several weeks or more. If you get tired of
waiting, or if you just need the money right away, you can request payment of
your prize money and leave the tournament. You cannot receive your prize money
and remain active in the competition. Prize money is only paid out when you
leave competition either by losing a match or requesting to be removed.
The Best Strategy for Winning the Big Money: In summary, here is
the best advice on how to win big.
- Stay in the game. If you lose a match, don’t get discouraged. Re-enter
and get right back into the fray.
- Re-enter each time you reach level 4. At level 4 you’ve won back your
entry fee so it won’t cost you any extra for another entry. This strategy
could result in a “free pass” to a higher level.
- When you start a quiz, answer the questions as quickly and accurately as
you can - use all possible resources.
- Consider assembling an all-star team of smart people who know how to use
the internet to find answers.
We at Orion Tournaments would like to wish you good luck, but luck doesn’t
have anything to do with winning big. Stick with it and learn how to find
the answers fast. If you do that, nothing can stop you from winning some
really big money.
